All a Flutter
Hello to all.
Well where has January gone..... Oh well even if I post monthly it will be more than last year!
This last week I decided to do something just for me. So after a bit of a clear out I though I'll have a go at a tag using a long lost template.
I embossed the card using a Tim Holtz embossing folder and enhanced it using Victorian Velvet and Vintage Photo. To cover the mistake, or should I say my creative diversion, I added a bit of ribbon/lace.
In my clear out I found some butterfly stamps, again long forgotten, so found some scrap of decorative paper, stamped the image and embossed it with some clear powder with a bit of bling in it. To finish it of a spritzed it with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold and added a few pearls.
Next, using Spellbinders Aster dies, I cut out my layers 3 times and put the together with a brad. To give me the shabby chic look I love I sprayed water on each layer scrunched the layers one at a time then gently pulled them apart to get the flower look I want. Once dried (and you can use a heat gun if you can't wait) I then added some more Perfect Pearls.
To finish the tag I added some ribbon and the letters cut out using some QuickKutz dies I had.
I hope you like my offering, even Hubby was impressed. Until next time......
